A piece for the More than Lore exhibition that I was in in March of 2016 in Grand Rapids. The subject of this work is the Mythological Norse Squirrel Ratatoskr. The squirrel climbs up and down the holy tree of Yggdrasil and serves as a messenger of insults and gossip between the eagle Veðrfölnir at the top of the tree and the worm Níðhöggr at the bottom.
